International 2014 - Presentation discussion

So, (invited so I'm told) contributors can sign up to give presentations at TI4.
I think it'd be a good idea to discuss and plan our presentations so we don't all cover the same subjects.
Some of the ideas that were given were
-Taking a concept to finished product
-Item Concept Design
-Texturing
I'm sure we can think of plenty of new things to talk about that aren't just limited to that.
I'm going to plan my presentation around Facial Flexes since those seem to be a niche thing I can do well. But I'm more interested in what some of our specialists are going to come up with.
Best we get this figured out now, it'd be pretty awkward if we all did the same thing.

this is only going to cause more angry discussion isn't it?
Also, I was certain they wanted only "supported features" shown off. While faceposing is technically possible, it's not something that's really available through the compiling tools just yet and still requires work on the part of Valve for each case. I'd run that by someone, just to be safe.

I'm sure a presentation on custom particles or animation would be pretty popular
They said don't present anything that's not officially supported, so that 100% cuts out particles and most animation too. I'm pretty sure no full time animators were invited either.
AWWWWW that sux. define... "officially....." there are headings for these subjects on the workshop page
zipfinator and Shaylyn are right, they said to focus on supported things
so i think it is better to avoid particles, flexes, cloth and some kind of animation
im not a full time animator but i like animating, i could talk about that
Yer I forgot about you Tvidotto. If we are following the supported rules, I'd say ability summons and courier animations are fair game but keep away from custom taunts.

I will probably keep on courier production since it is easier to create then a summom from scratch

i dont think it is needed to keep it secret, better then someone saying about the same thing there
well, mine is going to be about all the stages on courier creation
btw, i will bring my laptop and will see if i can record the presentations. I cannot guarantee that i will be able so if someone else could do the same would be great!
