Samurai helmet, WIP, Please crit it.

My own thoughts so far are, the cross shaped stitches are not believable enough. Fiber mesh is place holder. Underside missing harnesses/brackets. Needs more interesting shapes that break repetition.

Although you need to do a turntable to ensure the tassels don't get too noisy.

Just wondering what your references are? I agree that there is a lot of repetition. Some of those pieces of leather straps that are x shaped 3rd row from the rim look like they need to be aligned with the other part on top a little more, it looks like something that would be tied together to keep those plates nice and tight
