Metal Slug-type Game

Hey Polycounters,

I wanted to gauge interest on the prospect of a new project in the design-style and art-style of one of everyone's favorite games, Metal Slug! (Who hasn't spend countless quarters at their local arcade playing Metal Slug?) The idea would be to create a game that plays and feels exactly like Metal Slug, while using different names, characters, and settings.

This would be a non-profit project of passion, created purely out of interest in the Metal Slug series.
