Hi.
I'm working on this structure for a game, and I have a little(?) problem here.
As you can see, i applied same material to the top and the lower top part(they are 2 different obejcts) and they have different shades of gray.
How do i fix this? It really shows in game and is really annoying.
I already checked the smoothing groups, tried to retriangulate, everything. I'm out of ideas, please help me.

To fix it, you have to edit manually the vertex normals, making what is called "custom normals"
Select both objects, apply en edit_normals modifier and unify the vertices on the broken line.
But why not simply combine those 2 objects and weld points ?
EDIT: I am doing something wrong, or this method doesn't work ?
EDIT2: I think i may have found the solution. Instead of unify, i clicked average, and it fixed it(i haven't done the whole thing yet, but it looks promising )
