Hello, i have asked a similar question about consoles in the past, but now i want to ask about PS-VITA specifically, i want to make some indie game that works on PS-VITA, my question is, what is the best way to do it? i can't afford an SDK, so i will only make a simple PS-VITA Game that works on their Free to download tools, i'm sick of developing for mobile devices like android and iOS, even if they are good, i want to program some keys and joystick stuff,...
even if my game don't sell, i want to do it for fun...
they removed the fees, can you give me some tips and advices ???

I'd suggest you make an indie for all platforms ps3/vita/4 for the psn.
i know no free way to do what you said, even if i want to make a game for XBOX-360, i would need to buy a developer subscription for that, or i need to develop for the pc/mac and play with the joystick, i don't want that, i want to develop for a console.
Last I heard it was doing similar numbers to the WiiU ? Not like that anything to brag about though.

Also I wouldn't call the console dead...
If you are looking to make 2D games it might be an easier route and possibly more performant than Unity (smaller filesize too).
The language looks really easy to learn if you are familiar with any OOP language.
But developing for playstation mobile means your game appears in a different section of the Vita app store. You might be able to talk to Sony about this, but it's something to consider. If you just want something for your CV then you can get a mobile game up and running for Vita super fast.
I wouldn't even consider releasing a 3D game to PS Mobile.
can i build a monkey-x project to the device without having to pay anything to sony?
can i build a unity project to the device without having to pay anything to sony?
publishing is a far step for now, i want to make a bunch of simple games then buy the publishing option later, i just want to build a project on the device....
*** sorry for the two successive posts ***
From what I can tell, the Publisher License is currently free (for 1 year). Unfortunately the problem for you though is that country which you live in is not currently supported...
As for MonkeyX, it uses the PSM dev toolchain to compile and run on the device so there's no way to get around needing a license to test on a Vita with it.
