I just wrapped up this project that i started a while ago to learn some new things.
I used the DDO 2 Closed Beta for the armortexturing and for a base of the skintexture and i used marmoset toolbag for the "rendering"

Does this mean the armor was kitbashed? Sorry, I don't fully understand what you mean here. But that chest plate, wow :0
The head looks really nice too, my only critiques would be the texel density on the fur going around his shoulders look low res, and I think the beard hair planes could be placed a bit better, right now they seem to be mudding together.
As I've said on facebook, amazing stuff! As well as the armor I think your fatty buildups under the skin are just awesome, really bringing those wrinkles to life.
You ended up with a really nice piece here, great work! It's been awesome seeing it progress and it really would be cool to see some of the process if you have the chance.
Looks good. Great materials, though some seams (particularly tusks and horns) are rather sharp/abrupt, and everything feels very clean and unused. I definitely wouldn't have figured this an orc, though; too fancy. Looks much more like a satyr or some mythological demigod.
Awesome job man looks great, Love the armor and face, the horns looks great but where it connects to the skin feels like too abrupt of a transition, maybe put some discoloration where the skin connects to the horns or something like that, other than Amazing job
Face and armor is great! Good work on this
I agree with the super crisp lines between skin and horn for example, and also that the red cloth looks very flat. Perhaps put a subtle rimlight on it, to catch some shapes?
I also agree with the hair plane placement being muddy
Overall really nice job! I hope you find time to polish it up the last 5%
This looks awesome dude. The main thing that sticks out to me is the skin could use more color variation. Like focus on cool and warm areas all around. Especially warmer nose and ears. Also, I think the little cracks and folds of the skin should also have some slight color variation as well, to add natural contrast to those areas and make him look more alive.
he looks a little too clean for my liking... Orcs don't get to be kings without getting a bit rough.
Dude, that's so orc-ist... I kinda agree. I'd love a good dirt pass, get him looking like he's the biggest bad. Looks awesome nonetheless, great work les
Love how this turned out. My crit is the fur could be more matted and less fine. I would expect clumping and what not. Still, love how that armor metal reads...great work. would love to see textures too!

Really cool piece though, I like it.
Stockwell: I adjusted the sentence , i used ddo for texturing ofcourse. the armor itself was modeled and sculpted
also thank you for the critique
Guess i`m not done with this one yet

Love the expression of this lumpy bastard!
love the physicality of the armor and the SSS on the skin.
any tips regarding how you created that hair?
Not to mention its just beautifully realized. @__@
i`m going to putt some more effort into him and apply some of the critiques i got
