Change the lighting (weird colours atm) and get down and dirt with your metallic and roughness/spec maps/settings. Droppods are all steel and plate, Yours looks reeeeeeally flat right now to the point where it almost looks like you don't even have a normal map in there (This is also a product of that flat lighting).
You have all the model stuff taken care of, with some solid shader work, this could look really slick
The emperor protects only he who reduces the noisiness of the rock texture of the hyperios air defense asset. It's distracting from the actual weapon. Something like what you have for the jetfigher would be better I'd say. Just remember that to admit defeat is to blaspheme against the Emperor.
I think your modeling is pretty excellent and the texture looks good too -- lighting is not helping though. Are you only using the fill light? Also, my only suggestion for the model is that the tank tread doesn't look beefy enough to carry the actual tank -- like its going to bottom out on the frame in the dirt and rocks you chose for the platform. Your reference models tank treads seem better balanced for the tank. Hope that helps
I'd probably axe the podium in all the shots of the ship, as well as change the font for all the other podium shots to something more bad-ass. Lookin great though man
I think the brightness/woodiness of the pedestals might be competing a bit too much attention wise with the actual models.
Perhaps a lower value material such as some sort of dark pearl type material or painted metal might work better for the trim as to not draw the focus away from the model. I could maybe see the wood working but only if the pieces were placed on an actual wooden board so it blends and provides less of a distraction.
That said, the emperor would be proud! Awesome stuff man
the models look nice, but you could have far better bakes with less sharp edges. I would at least try to mix up some of the more defining one to have a softer highlight , with this highpoly, nearly all your definition will be lost in your normal. You can hardly see any edge highlights on your close up shot on the highpoly, and normals will hardly reach that quality and youll be further away even.
The claw looks too small too and the smoke launcher on his head seems too big
I also think the ground texture of the anti air launcher dosnt fit, the stones look like they have a lot of height, but its very flat and seems to be too close to the bottom of the model,
id go for another texture maybe . The grey backgrounds are also a bit of a downer : P
aside very nice stuff, i like how everything has another environment where it is in , keep it up
At first I thought you were posting the work you did for a warhammer game. The assets themselves are top notch, I would just work a bit on the lighting and presentation. Mainly I would look up and attempt some 3 point lighting setups.
nice models, have old unfinished project with 2 of these models, finishing them all at that quality is really well done, Feel there is a lot that can be done with the materials and lighting though.

Hey thanks for the critique, what did you have in mind particularly?
well I'm guessing you are going for the painted figure look, which is all nice , what I mean is it would be nice to see a bit more reflection in the materials, some highlights etc, some metals looks a bit flat, the side gun on the tank got some nice highlights, so maybe try making another version where you play a bit more with materials and lighting, totally nice the way it is though.

Do it for the Emperor. Do it for humanity.

Ditto on those treads, make em have more weight. Overall some nice stuff going on here, keep going.
I was trying to make them look fancier with some gold rims and a plaque

They are really telling a story now and by this support the model itself.
Keep going.

I think I'm done with warhammer stuff for a while :P
More critiques welcome!
