The tutorials so far have been awesome...clean and concise. Just what you want really!
I imagine there will tutorials for other programs too?
Any plans of user submitted content? - Scrap that just had a look seems like you're already on it.
Thepapercut - Yes we plan on getting into all areas of game art. I have a weapons for games course starting later in summer which will cover all areas of weapon development for nextgen games. More info on that to come
Sorry about the not found errors. I'll look into that now and get it fixed.
Fwap, we do have some user submitted content plans, still early days but it's certainly on the cards.
Thanks guys
I especially like the attention to non-video tutorials. Digital Tutors helped me SO much in learning Zbrush in the first place, but now that I know my way around, learning things through (often drawn-out) videos can be frustrating. I'm excited.
Any plans to have a wiki or similar knowledge base/link directory, kind of like the polycount wiki?
Promising website !
Our first challenge is starting today,
The Brief
Slice of Environment Diorama
Your brief is to create an environment diorama of a well known place. It could be a famous or interesting building from your hometown, a market scene from china, a scene from an old game re-imagined or a place in a film. The diorama should be like a cut-out of the environment. A slice of the scene. Not the entire building but a small portion of it created in detail.
Prizes include Marmoset 2, Environment Textures subscription to over 130,000 images, Substance designer & painter + More.
