Was the mod something someone paid you for? or something that made you money? Otherwise, I don't think it counts as job experience. As for the rest of your folio, it feels like you took everything to 70% and stopped. I would add more to the models, textures, and lighting passes. I don't see any highres work either. You're gonna need sculpts or highpoly modeling in your folio to have any shot at work. Your spec is very poor as well...I see no metal popping or good material reads. It's a good idea to learn PBR as well since that is pretty much becoming industry standard.

I didnt think about laying out my High Res stuff, after looking at your portfolio it gives me a good idea
