URGENT! Exporting with Geometry Cache to FBX in Maya 2014

Need urgent and fast help here guys. I'm trying to export an object with animations from a geometry cache (it's a duplicate of an object animated with muscle deformers) and Maya gives me the error message:

"The FBX plug-in cannot export the Geometry Cache for the following reason(s): No set is selected for geometry cache export, the selected set is empty, or the selection set is applied to the shape node of the object instead of its transform node:"

The object in the FBX file has no animations when I open it in Maya.
