Repeat last in 3DSMax?

Hey there,

i did a google search, only info i came across, is that there is a "repeat last" button in max' edit poly modifier. I am working on several splines now, though.
Scriptspot didnt come up with a script, so i wanted to ask here whether someony already saw something alike.

This is the only function i found useful in maya up until now, it just repeats the last "whatever you did" with a stroke of a key.

Any solutions? Thanks

Not that I know of offhand.

There is a "repeat last" in the Quad Menu (the one that appears when you right-click in a viewport)... click on one of the four names of the quads, it re-does the last command you activated inside that quad.

There's also the Repeat Last in the graphite ribbon, but again that's for Poly editing, not splines.

You can try using the Macro Recorder in the Maxscript Listener.

I think the repeat last button in 3ds Max is the " ; " key, but its function it pretty limited... not sure if it works for spline functions though...

@eric: i am the quad menu, the graphite and the modifier buttons are all the same, just in different parts of the ui, i thought?

@phixel: maybe its a problem with the german keyboard layout, but when i hit the ";", i end up moving in the timeline... but thats what i read on google, too...

I set my to a keyboard short cut of "Y" If that key doesn't work for you definitely change it.

No, the quad menu function is completely separate. It only repeats the last function you did in the quad menu. There are four quadrants, so it can re-do four commands.
