So I have heard some people saying that they like baking normals in Substance designer, Im just curious if it gives better quality then xnormals. Anyone use both in there workflow?
I don't think there's much if any difference qualitywise.
UI-wise Xnormal is not very nice though, Designer is much easier to use instead.
Maybe just try it?

For what it's worth it is really straight forward and fast.
Get the trial, try it. Takes like 5 mins if you know what to do.
If you have an Nvidia card you can speed up AO bakes by using the Optix/CUDA option.
