Hi everyone,
I'm starting a new project. I want to deviate from my usual themes and start something different, something more 'fantastical', something that will allow a change in style.
Before I get started however, I need your help to decide on a concept.
I have found several I like and I want to make all of them almost equally:)
One of the stipulations for this projects is I want to, for once, not make something massive that will almost take half a year to make.
I would like to create something more painterly looking than my usual stuff so most textures will probably be a mix of hand-painted and sculpted (kinda like Diablo3).
My current favorites are A, E and F but I also find G and H extremely interesting. C I think would look great in that style as would D but that may have too large of a scope to fit this project.
I haven't gotten permission from the artists for all the pieces yet but I will once I have settled on a piece.
Please drop a comment with your favorite and if possible provide a runner up in case I'm not allowed to make the winning concept.
Thank you for your help
Cheers

Hope this helps
Please keep the votes coming.
I'm also poling on facebook and counting all votes together E is in the lead with A and F tied for second.
I agree, D is amazing concept wise but I'm afraid it would become another multi month project
It is decided then, E it is.
Thank you for the input everyone, this is going to be fun

You should do it, I bet it will turn out great
Thanks Urgaffel, don't get your hopes too high though, I've never done anything hand painted before so this might fail spectacularly
For the past 7 months I have been looking for work unsuccessfully.
So I asked the community here on what I can do to refocus my approach.
The majority of feedback was that my work isn't quite there yet and that I need to focus less on big sprawling environments and more on highly detailed, highly polished 'Hero' pieces.

So I have decided to put this project on hold until after August.
I will try to have at least two high detail pieces to take with me to GDC in August. After that I hope I can start this project in earnest.
Cheers
