Trying to design a sci-fi space suit

Hey guys! so heres a new design im working on! im gonna try to push this one as far as i can and clean it after + textures and renders! The final image will only shot the bust of the character so im not gonna design and model the lower parts.

Let me know what you think about it so far!

Insane. Love it. One thing though that I noticed, if you are pushing for a high level of detail, game res model, I would watch out for the really small parts like the clips holding the cloth staps onto the chest piece. The clip is tiny and would be lost at a game res. Plus big shapes = cool right? haha

@atronx yes its hard to find a good ballance. i gonna try to fix that !

I absolutely love the design but immediately after seeing her face I realized I have no idea how she can see. The shapes are awesome though and from an aesthetic point of view, this is on point.

@BMASUNKIST the helmet is over her eys and is suposed to be some kind of augmented vision that she see inside here helmet through a monitor, a little bit like the iron man helmet or the oculus rift

No offense, and maybe it's just me, but the Oculous Rift displays a completely different image than what's around the viewer. And the Iron Man helmet works because there are "eye holes" that act as sensors, but without any clear indication of a sensor, this just doesn't read as "functional" to me.

sorry for my english, im having a little bit of trouble explaining my stuff :P

i was refering at the oculus just like a monitor in front of your eyes, and as the iron man mask for the same reason.

i plan to add some kind of camera/sensor to the design a little bit like in this image ( still very WIP )

Looking good but for me it looks more like a suit for the jet fighter`s pilot, or something like that.

I like the helmet, and the hard surface stuff in general, very nice... but the cloth needs a lot more work. I also don't like the boobs right now, they attract attention more than that nice helmet and everything else... which is a shame. Maybe don't do the stripy thing, and make it less like the boobs are pushing through the suit?

I like the values in C1 or D2 the best, but maybe add the glows from E2. This is looking awesome!!!

This is super cool work! I'm really enjoying the changes you made to enlarge and accentuate some of the various smaller suit elements based on the previous feedback. Making them larger definitely helps sell the design and they read considerably better when you're not looking at a super close-up shot.

For colors, I actually like this one a lot. I would increase the color and value for the very faint tan color in her jacket/suit. I'd leave the techy bits a nice neutral grey like you have here and then maybe push the glow on the suit a bit more (leave the glow on the face though, it looks great).
