Miscreated is a Multiplayer, Post-Apocalyptic Hardcore Survival Game. We are working towards Alpha Release on Steam so here's our work so far!
We have Officially released Miscreated (Alpha) on Steam Early Access, we have lots of plans ahead for future features, Craftables and Weapons should be fun!
@Chillydog, your picture goes quite well after reading what you said lol. not that its a bad thing...
to the art... um, everything seems very... over saturated, and the lighting is kinda blown out. some textures could use some tweaking as well... primarily the inside of the building... but since its pre-alpha I'd give it a slide honestly. I'm sure it will look better and better as the project moves forward.
@quack!: I would completely agree, just pay attention to what the community wants and make sure things are working smoothly in order to ensure success. Granted, thats with any game.
This looks promising, I'd be curious to see some real time game play. Its great your transitioning to PBR as it will really help take your textures to the next level. Gives me a Walking Dead vibe, and is definitely looking better already than that POS SOE post apocalyptic RPG in development for sure!
Small Update:
- Animations are progressing at a steady speed
- Sounds are mostly back in
- More and more Assets used in 3.5 things are being converted to PBR
one thing I noticed, is that with the 3.6.x version, the ao is gone in the house comparison.
Even though there is great variety in the nature scene, you could go even further by making the vegetation adhere to the ground color. This way you can make lighter and darker patches. should work for trees and grass, etc. respectively.
@gametime Yeah I'm not sure what is going on with the house comparison but I know the buildings I have been working on all have SSAO, atleast on the Inside. I'll definitely keep an eye on the AO as Dynamic SSAO is one of my favorite features of CryEngine.
Nice stuff, after reading the features and FAQ on the game's website I have to say it sounds like an interesting project — I'll have to keep an eye on this one. I'll be interested in how wind will be implemented (Calibrated scopes, bipods?) ; realistic bullet physics and damage/bleeding are what I love most about Breaking Point (Arma 3 DayZ-like mod), so it's cool to see a project with similar ambitions.
We have a new lvl designer & animator on board so progress on level design, prefabs, animations and some new art for the steam page has been coming along nicely. Heres a few more shots

Art looks good. I hope that the combat is somewhat fun, because that is where almost all survival games fail at.
Is the AO turned on?
