I know there is an older thread over this, but I want a new one to reflect the growing size of Cintiqs.
What arms do people use for their Cintiqs?
Our artists have the 24 HD Cintiqs which are about 60 lbs. I want to buy them arms to help with limited del space. I know a lot of artists use the Ergotron arms, but their specifications say the maximum weight is 20 lbs. Are these still the arms to go with?
Any other suggestions for pneumatic arms out there? I know the guys at KingsIsle used some really cool ones. What brand were those?

I am pretty sure that the ergotron ones are still the standard....
but i know my daughter would just end up swinging on it lol.

They're awesome. I bought an Ergotron for my home Cintiq but I either bought the wrong one or it was just too unstable for me to lean on and use so I put my second monitor on it. The arms from the link above are great and super sturdy.

this is what it looks like
I use a 21UX with an arm and yeah.. it wobbles a little, but nothing I couldn't get used to. Though I don't really rest my arm on it, mainly float, but can put a little pressure on it without issue.
I had to look again and it turns out the one I have here on my desk is a 22HD, so those Ergotron arms should work.
Justin: did you guys use Ergotrons at KingsIsle? I liked those arms.
The base acts as a counterweight so you can lean the monitor off the edge of your table. The monitor itself feels pretty light. I had to buy a new desk because my desk at the time started bowing inward from the weight of the 24HD.
Yeah, we're using ergotrons at KI.
This site, http://www.trustedreviews.com/wacom-cintiq-24hd_Peripheral_review, says the stand accounts for 15.3kg of the listed weight. If that's right, it'd put just the tablet at a hair over the 30lb mark so it may work.
Edit - Actually, this makes it sound like that figure is wrong. http://forum.ergotron.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=454
But that might give you some ideas. They used a dual-arm solution, heh.
