need help improving cloth

Hi,

I'm trying to get beter at sculpting cloth but it keeps looking off, especialy the long coat.

any help/feedback/advice would be greatly appreciated

They work now. Are you using reference? All of your folds look unnatural. Just like anything real world you should be basing these off of real reference. Also do the basic folds at low subdivisions. It looks like you are too high already.

Yeah you need to use as much reference as possible. dress up in some sheets and take some photos. Try to duplicate the look of the drapery you are aiming for. Drapery sculpting is super difficult. Its kind of like sculpting anatomy. You can only cheat it so much before It looks unnatural. So yeah - reference. One thing I see that is good; you are trying to stay away from symmetry in the folds..
