Having what seems to be a lighting problem in UDK. This problem seems to apply to all models in the environment. Have tried a few fixes but no luck yet. The issue is particularly noticeable with modular assets (images below).
This issue is evident after baking and not when messing around with dynamic lighting.
Can anyone offer me any insight as to what is going wrong here.

So PITA solution, make a single larger modular piece to replace the many smaller modular pieces, or use a lot of trim geometry to cover it up. You're still using the textures in a modular fashion, not instancing as much geometry.

M4dcow it seems that the issue is directly affected by the rotation of normal mapped assets as you have mentioned.
Joopson that thread did prove to be really useful "DeadlyFreeze" has on several threads summed up the issue and has given advice regarding solutions.
Thanks again everyone! - really appreciate the replys
