3ds Max as 3d Interactive Application Development Environment

Hello, this is my second post after compulsory "hello" :)
I choose this topic because, I'll talk about something that isn't art. But very related to people here.

My friend and I started working on a project a year and a half ago. That was about developing a game engine which is smoothly embedded in to 3ds Max. Very similar to blender game engine.

What this project adds to 3ds Max:

* Artist can create levels, prefabs and characters in 3ds Max and test them with out going another engine / program.

* Created content can be published to Android / IOS / PC / LINUX / MAC within 3ds Max. (Still there is no need to go to another software)

* We plan to add visual scripting like UE4's blue print. So many interactive element can be designed without heavy programming.

We observ from our early prototype that:

* End result of the content is immediately visible to the artist while content is being developed.

* 3ds Max become a nice WYSIWYG type of game editor.

* There are no import / export routines. Your saved 3ds Max scene is your level / content.

Why we are here ?

We spend a lot of time with R&D last year and decided not to write an engine. Because it requires a lot of time (like 7 years) with this team and development speed. But we find an open source game engine that we can use.

We believe that we can finish the project we talked about within 6 months. But we want to ask you, whether a project like this interests you or not ?

Summary: Turning 3ds Max in to an artist friendly 3d interactive application and game prototyping environment, which doesn't require heavy programming or scripting. Projects can be output as executables in various platforms such as pc, linux, android ...
