Nintendo DS game models? REMOVING AA? [URGENT]

Hello everyone I've been looking everywhere on the internet for some help on this and had no results, so I am hoping someone here can help.

I am trying to recreate models in this style:

As you can see the edges are pixelated im guessing its just anti aliasing removed, also the textures are very crisp I am using maya and have no idea on how to achieve this effect I have tried everything but just can't get it working. Here is how its looking for me

change your renderer from Maya Software to Mental Ray and in the quality settings you can lower the Sampling.

your textures are probably blurring from the Filter setting in the texture sample. Go to the texture file in Maya - Effects - Filter (default is 1.0) change to 0.0 and it will disable any blurring on your texture. The filter is there in the first place I believe for mipmapping so at further distances from the camera the texture is blurred a bit to avoid flickering in the renders.
