Books/articles/videos on lighting setup?

I'm about to start making environments and I think that lighting is a crucial part of what makes it good. But I know nothing about the subject and I don't even know where to start. And yes, I googled it but perhaps fellow artists would recommend something useful?

I would say - stare real life, watch classic painting, professional photos and films (especially film noir - good regarding lighting composition)

I'll throw my hat in for Digital Lighting and Rendering (that's the first book my art director had me read back in my internship) as well as studying film noir. You can also look in to lighting setups for photography and the theater, depending on what look you're after. There are some nice ideas to be found there too.
