Greetings,
Finally get to post this onto the Polycount Forum. Glad to be here at last.
My speciality is within 3D environment art, and a few more assets besides. Feel free to praise/critique/rip apart/suggest/destroy etc. More I learn, the better.
I'll start off my thread with this: a model of the British L115A3 sniper rifle. A long standing favourite weapon of mine that I've always wanted to complete. I'll upload some of the references I've used too.
Finished the modelling a while back. This version has no attachments to speak of, so no Bipod, Monopod or suppressor. I've chosen a standard Schmidt & Bender 5x25x56 PM II scope. Nothing fancy.

Triangle count of around 6k. 90% complete with the mesh/model.
These include the selector switch, minor edits to the scope, the muzzle brake and the buttstock. About 10k triangles in total.
Below are some of the references I'm using, the 1st proving to be the most useful.
At this point, it is starting to look a bit more like the AK-74u, in contrast to the above reference.
Marmoset Render of Dumpster:
Sea Freight Tank, aiming to finish this. Loosely based from this reference:
Work-in-Progress
can you describe the process for that last studio?
sooooo sweeeeettttt!!!
I'll upload this too, based off a tutorial I came across for a Sci-Fi designed panel. Tested in Unity to start with, complete with a reflective cubemap. Didn't like that much; the Marmoset renders I prefer much more.
I probably will not use this for the near future; but that doesn't stop me from producing more as its a nice exercise to learn.
Went with a fuel tank in the end.
