Flapdoodle , yes it's a word and I am going to give myself a weekly challenge of one character sculpt a week while I'm in uni and hopefully continue on afterwards. Come join me on my quest to see how messed up the inside of my head is.
Give feedback or random themes you think I should use and feel free to jump in with your own Flapdoodles
So lets get started. I will drop some images of characters I have just completed for some modules as my starting point.
The sculpts have a fun style, but the texturing is really hurting your presentation. There is no material definition in your textures, every area has the same high gloss plastic sheen on it. Try playing with different specular and gloss values for things like cloth, metal, fur, etc.
Really great style. I also love that "high-key" presentation of your sculpts. But the colored versions aren't outstanding, they kinda ruin your awesome sculpts a little. You should work on that, like already suggested before.

Will be late on my next one as I will be away so will do a catch up one next week aswell.
Trying to improve my texturing and rendering but finding it hard. Got a real long way to go.
