Linking Object and UV Scale

Eh all,

Is there a way in Maya 2014 to link the uv's to an object so that when oyu scale it up or down, the uv's scale with it?
For example you duplicate a rock about a dozen times to spread around a scene, but because the uv's are linked to the object scale, you can scale the rocks uniquely and keep the same texel density across all objects.

Want to know this, hopefully have the linking cross over into cryengine importation, since I can't seem to do it directly in cryengine like you can in UDK.

Thanks

Under the Scale Tool options you can check "Preserve UVs" and then scale your object up in face mode (select all the faces of your object rather than selecting the object itself). This is finicky though and doesn't always work as expected. Other than this option... A custom MEL script could probably get the job done.
