*sigh*
So I got a sharp hair up my ass last night and went on a quest to figure out how to get my Cintiq Companion to do GPU intensive stuff like doing work in Substance Painter or Marmoset Toolbag.
First, I thought, hey I can just run a remote desktop to my workstation, problem solved. Nope. I can't get pen pressure to work. The pen acts like a mouse. It also lags even though I'm on a really fast network.
Then I thought, well someone should have figured out how to do this by now, it's 2014 afterall. So I found a nifty app in the Windows Store. It's called virtual tablet.

I found out it just turns any penabled tablet PC into a Intuos-like tablet device. It was fine since I sold my 22HD to get the Companion so at least I could just used the Companion with my workstation. Nope. No pen pressure again.
So now I think I'm screwed. I want to do all my work on the go aside from the heavy lifting done in something like Unreal Engine. I have a workstation for that stuff. I need something with a dedicated GPU on the go. I'm going to have to sell the Companion and get a gaming laptop and Intuos tablet aren't I? Shit.
The funny part is that I went from a Intuos4 to a Intuos5 for some wireless freedom, then to a 22HD, and then to a Companion for more mobility again. Now it looks like I'm going backwards. Wonder how much cash I lost in with this crap.

Thanks for the suggestion though.
