UPDATE NOV 2016:
IMGUR ALBUM
------------------------------------
Here's a collection of images I've shared on Technical Talk over the last years (continually updated with new images I post). They keep disappearing in old threads, so I've put them into one place, and hope they'll be of help
Quite a few of the images don't contain text. Just perform a reverse image search to find the original polycount post. I recommend installing
this browser extension for Chrome, which will let you image search directly from the right-click menu.
My ulterior motive with this is to test using google drive for image sharing and linking. So have at it, and please let me know if you run into any issues.
Edit: If you wish to leech the content, the best way is probably to have a google account and hit "Open in Drive" in the upper right corner. I believe this should mirror everything locally for you and also update whenever I make any changes or add files.

It is working for me, I right click do an image search which is enabled by default in chrome and find the correct thread
My findings thus far:
I love the google interface, sharing, local mirroring that people can do, and so on.
However, gdrive is not supposed to be used as an image host, so I don't know whether they'll throttle if traffic gets too high, or even make the links invalid at some point.
The url you get when right clicking an image will expire (just look at Noor's post). So you need to get a public URL and then convert it to a permalink, as such: https://sites.google.com/site/gdocs2direct/
Request: For someone who has the time, make something like a Chrome extension which will convert a public gdrive link and encapsulate it with polycount forum image tags, then paste, so it's automated. That would make using gdrive for image hosting a lot easier.
Oh, maybe just testing 2017.
