2 cockpit paintings WIP

Starting these two paintings, they have a long way to go still but I'm trying to use these to focus on my painting skills. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

looking good, what are you ultimate goals for this project? What are you rendering in? Funnily enough i am doing a tank cockpit myself, its abot more old skool than this one though. I would love to see some animations of the cockpit working the guy moving etc.

Here is another pass, I guess the goal is to create as much mood and emotion in the piece as possible. it's a pretty wide goal but I feel I am taking some stuff lesson wise away from these.

when you say paintings did you draw all of this???

if not what modeling package/renderer are you using bc these shots look fantastic!

It's a combination of just kit busting models in maya and then painting over in photoshop.

This is pretty cool! Love how functional the cockpit looks - the cables and piping adds a nice, claustrophobic feeling. I prefer the monitor designs on the side view , without the holographic panels. Holographic UI panels are so cliche right now, you see them everywhere.

A seatbelt would be useful. I like the second one the most - the background tells more of a story.
