Wow, great work. My only tiny crit would be to broaden your styles. Everything follows a very realistic vibe so it would be nice to see some stylized stuff if you were interested in those jobs as well.
Figured I'd write up all my thoughts, since people aren't being too helpful (;P)
-Homepage is barren. The less clicks the better, so why not just add more images below that single one, and have me scroll along your main work.
-Overall, too much stuff. There are too many pieces, including a few clearly old/bad ones that shouldn't be on there, and things that are basically duplicates. Don't be afraid to cut stuff if you have tons of great work anyway. I'd say not having to scroll on any of the pages would be a good start.
-I'd also suggest just building your own site. daportfolio is slightly unprofessional, and well... it's pretty ugly. Your site is gray with a black banner and ivory letters - its just not even slightly visually attractive to me, which is odd since you are a visual artist.
In general your illustration page is lackluster, it's very clear you don't focus on it and it feels unecessary. Maybe put them in somewhere else, among the others, not sure on that.
Just thoughts, and opinions! Hope this helps in a way. Overall you are doing fine and it's good work, but you know that already!
The website is not looking good however, id cut the gradients in the header, choose another font, looks really basic website buildter, and choose another color for the text or leave it white, that ochre color does not really add anything
Also try maintaining a similar background+text layout for your vehicles and such things, it will look a lot more professional
Aside that really nice , but consider cutting what you think are the worst, its a lot
Your stuff's come on leaps and bounds, Sam, you've got a really impressive portfolio there! Agree that the RS illustration stuff maybe isn't as strong as your other concept stuff (and I'd be tempted to say it detracts from whats a stellar sci fi portfolio over all). dA's folio site isn't ideal in terms of 'pretty', but it does get the job done.
It's a deviantart portfolio, low scale rate, poor selecting, few blue select bugs that stay over the images and can't be unclicked. Technical side crit :P
The work is astounding though. Really great job!
I recommend looking at hosting your own portfolio though. If CGhub has taught us anything it's that. Look into Wordpress portfolio templates and you'll be very happy.
It's also less than Deviantart premium to buy and host everything. Just saying
If you need a hand give me a shout, good work deserves a good stage!

Things I would place differently:

^ this should NOT be on the second page. It's your best work by far if you ask me, except for the very bad low res on the top left and right.

Update it a bit (rendering+redo the mountain) and put it earlier

the above two don't deserve #2 and #4 imo, and need lots of refinement in general.

^ this and the other 2 after that would fit very nicely on one sheet. No need for 3 entries.
