3D modeller and concept artist needed for a sci-fi turn based strategy game

Hi,

The Idle Squad is working on a sci-fi themed turn based tactical strategy game called Metal Platoon: Fires of Hate. Game style is similar to x-com/ufo series but with robots as main units and is set in the far future. More info with the description of most game systems, units and aproximately half of weapons can be found here.

We're a small international collaboration and this is our first title. As the game is nearing it's first build of the tactical side of the game, we're looking to replace those nasty placeholders with some actual models, and that's the reason we're looking for:
  • Concept artist(s)
  • 3D modeler(s)
Joint requirement is that you're not a complete beginner and that you can dedicate at least 5 hours per week to the project, prefferably more.
For the concept artist it would be a major plus if you could also double as texture artist. Areas that would need covering are lots of different environments (game is spanning many planetary sytems so lots of freedom here), map props, weapons and robots plus a few interior places for the meta part of the game. Focus is on robots and environments.


3D models required range from static low poly models to high poly animated robot models. You can pick the range that suits you, it's not required or expected to cover all of them. Models would include low poly map props, medium poly weapons, larger map objects plus a couple of interior places and high poly robot models. If you can rig and animate them as well that would be a plus but is not a requirement.
