You should probably consider having the belt be a gem. I remember that someone commented that valve asked them to add the big gem to ember spirit's belt.

Strong linework in the concept. I don't see enough of it these days, well done.

Looking forward to the piece developing. What are you thinking for a color palette?

@heboltz3: I'm not entirely sure. I know I wanted the cloth on the skirt to be the green from his regular set, but that's about it.

nice sculpts but from what i remember the arm slot for earth spirit is with the entire arm so you will need to sculpt an entire arm ,not just some bracers

Yeah as Andumy said, the arms are a separate slot with the entire arm.

After lots of baking fun, I've finally got some base colors down. Tomorrow I work on masks and skinning.

Finished defining materials! Fun times. As this is my first anything in Dota, critique on the materials is appreciated. I want everything looking it's best.

Hmm I wished you would have taken a detail/damage pass on it. with slashes and gouges Or at least dirty up the texture. I don't think clean armor suits Earth Spirit very well

That I can do. I just had a deadline to meet this week so I wasn't able to get too crazy with the detail.
