So, my time as an intern has come to an end, and it's time to start applying for a job.
But before I do that I need to update and polish my portfolio.
Currently it is in the state it was six months ago, before I got my internship, so to break down the things I know i need to change.
I need to add the projects I have worked on and the games I have released, I need to update my CV and possibly add a new personal project.
I will get on to working on my site in the coming week, so for now I would like to hear what you, my fellow polycounters, can give me for advice and critique.
Anyway here is my portfolio:
mikael3d.com
I have mainly been focusing on environment art. And I am aware that this is not so apparent from looking at my current works, but I have a few environments from the IOS-game, Slam dunk basketball 2, that I will be adding soon, as well as some from a yet-to-be released title.
Also I will see about adding what I worked on for a few student projects I did a while back.
Would love to get some thoughts and feedback.

On your title banner, is there a reason "artist" isn't capitalized?
I'd recommend including polycounts & wireframes, at least for the props.
Your "Contact" section is more properly an "About" section. This area could use proof-reading as well. The dates for your internship (now past?) are in an odd format. Replace the period before "but" in the second sentence with a comma. You might want to include your country (Sweden?).
On your resume, you should capitalize the months (May, June, etc.) or seasons (Spring). "Participant of 8 game projects" is awkward; use "participated in" or even better, "worked on" . "Telefon, mobil" should probably be "Mobile Telephone" on the English version; you might need to include the country code.
I wouldn't recommend qualifying your level of experience on each tool; interviews will establish your actual skill levels. Claiming you have only minimal experience will just get your resume culled by soulless HR people.
I personally really dislike slide shows; just give me a page and let me click on the images to get to a larger image.
I'd recommend going over the project text - or better yet, get somebody to proof-read them for you. The center-alignment for the text doesn't work well with the current text.
I hadn't really thought about how the browser scaled everything to be honest. Thats something that needs to be changed.
I was thinking of changing the banner entirely, the font and style of it looks fairly dull.
I was thinking I should have my contact information in the banner instead and, like you said, perhaps have the 'contact' tab be an 'about' tab instead, does that sound reasonable?
I totally agree with the image viewer, do you have any examples of how you would prefer to view images?
Would a left-aligned project text work better? and should it be more informative as well? adding more information on each project,
Changes I am planning to do on the portfoliosite is:
use smaller, standing thumbnails for the starting page, change up the header banner, use a different image-viewer and also change most texts in some form.
As for my portfolio pieces, they are mostly what I plan to work on in the comming months. Since I am currently unemployed I need a stronger portfolio and I aim to specifically strengthen my environment art skills.
I would welcome any feedback and criticism on my portfolio and the site.
