Hey gang. I'm a content/character artist at Smith Micro Software. Going to post up some work I've done both for my job and for fun in this thread. While initially most of the work will be old, I plan on posting new stuff too. Feel free to critique if you like or just have a look.

- this was a NURBS model done in RHINO 3D version 2 I think. Took a screen grab and painted over it in Photoshop. Ah the memories.

This one was modeled in Silo:


I almost sculpted this right. According to Kirkman when I spoke to him a few comic cons ago, it's not ears, just some flesh that sticks out the side of his head. Never went back to fix it though.


Think I may come back to some of these and try updating them.

Thank you! I've been wanting to do a body for him (and maybe redo the horns). Thinking along the lines of an overweight trollish figure or alternatively, he could be a four legged animal of some sort with humanistic features. Debating with myself which would be better.

Been awhile. Sorry for the absence. Now that I'm a game developer I hope to be doing more low poly work I can post here. To start:

about 75,000 tris for the little lady. Body was sculpted in ZBrush, clothing modeled in Marvelous Designer and then retopo'd in Toolbag2 . Scultped then reprojected the details in ZBrush. Boots were modeled in Silo. All texturing of her done in Substance Painter.

26,318 tris so far. I could probably cut that down a bit more but like I said, a wip.
