First hand-painted texture, looking for crit and tips

Hi PolyCount, recently finished this texture which is heavily based off of the artwork in Bastion, I just wanted to try and get a few techniques down.

I'd appreciate your opinions and if you have any tips to share that would be great, I want to get better at hand painted stuff.

A few things I should mention though, i'm going to remove the moss (unless someone can provide some pointers on how to make it look better), maybe add 2 trim pieces along the top and bottom and add some more variation to the bricks so it's not so obvious that they're all duplicates of the same brick haha.

Shape is too repetitious of the bricks as is the shade, you've got all those pixels, use them for different brick variations. Green needs a bit of shading, it's too light in value compared to everything else. Nice start though.

I agree, you really need to change the shape of each individual brick and change the shading a bit. It's way too repititive atm. Definitely a good start though!

If you're going to tile the texture, however, beware of making individual bricks which are too distinctive. The human eye is very good at spotting patterns.

Just make subtle changes to the individual bricks. Like diffrent shading or details. But you've got a nice base their. I like the style.
