I have not had a place on here to drop off my new art yet. So now I guess its time.
This facehugger has been sitting around as a highpoly for a long time now. I have half a retopped started and I just added to it and exported my maps from xnormals. I will be posing some time soon.

Otherwise pretty good, the facehugger egg texture could use some more love though.
yes and no, its like a show horse thing, and I great way not to use a lot of alphas. the tail has alphas. Thanks for the feedback
Yea I worried about this the whole time I was making it. I reworked it a few times already. I just couln't get it to where I wanted it, thanks for the feeback.
(For example the grooves on the legs.) Presentation is much better now, though I would separate the sideview of the jumping facehugger from the eggs. (Tail/egg overlap.) I also agree that textures could be more varied with local differences.
The new piece looks promising. Maybe think about how those legs would work and compare it to insects/spiders/crustaceans.
Are you using PBR?
on the art test the straps on her are still pretty bumpy, i'd go back and try to make those smoother and more metal like. It definetly looks like it was sculpted out of clay.
