How to Scult Soft and Smooth Curves in Zbrush?

I'm fairly new to Zbrush but I have learnt the basics and can move around. My problem is with using the MOVE tool to move around geometry. It just does not give me that precise result as with traditional poly modeling. Any advice or technique I'm missing?

Go to your lowest sub div (or one of the lowest) and use the move tool to move the vertices around. When you go back to your higher sub-d you'll find it all moved as well.

Also, decreasing the Z Intensity of the move brush will help you make finer adjustments using longer strokes.

You're still pushing verts either way so the same principals still apply. Like with traditional modeling, you'll want to try and make your largest changes with as few vertices as possible and let the subdivision take care of the rest.

If you're using dynamesh and the lowest you can get is 100k verts, then you'll have a harder time getting a smooth curve pulled out with the move brush. It would be better to block things out using simpler shapes added using the IMM or curve tools before dynameshing. Or now that you have the overall proportion established, use zremesh on it to get a lower vert count to work with.

You could also use the trim curve brushes as well (not the Trim brush). If you want a really nice refined curve then your should retopologize the dynamesh you have (Zremesher should be fine) and work from there.
