Zbrush question

Hello gurus and guruessessss.

Quite a newbie question about zbrush; I am working on subd level 5 and trying to get a lovely clean sculp - however as I scrubbed out and remade the face, I am getting a lot of creasing and stretching as below. I can't go to a higher subd without my computer breaking and I am wondering if there is a simple way to clean the mesh up? (smoothing or subtracting just seems to make it worse) Or should I just reproject detail onto another cleaner basemesh?

Thanks all!

You can mask off areas where you need a lot of detail, drop down to the lowest sub-D, invert the mask and then subdivide - you'll get a lot more geo in those areas, handy if working on for example a head and you don't want to subdivide all of it if you only end up needing detail on the face. Only shortfall is you get dodgy geo where the mask border ends, but shouldn't be too much of a problem if you do it well :)

My workflow for cleaning the topo in the beginning stages of a sculpt:

-Go to your highest detail subd level
    -Duplicate the tool
-Zremesh one of the tools down to a nice low poly count
-Subdivide this Zremeshed tool until its similar poly count to the duplicate (original) tool.
-With the Zremeshed tool selected, hit Project All.
-Delete the "dirty" tool because your new one is better.

now you have a clean tool with an even distribution, and a nice low base subd level.
Quick once you've done it a few times.

Thanks Griffin and Torch! I played with both your suggestions and in the end duplicated the tool, zremeshed and projected high detail and it worked beoootifully. In writing, sounds horrific but on implementation; not so scary. Thanks, guys.
