Hey folks, long time lurker here. I'm always looking for a few tips, suggestions, or critiques on my work, so I wanted to post a few examples and direct you to my blog and whatnot. I vary. I go from low poly characters and assets to full-blown Flash-based games and vector graphics. I can't get enough. What do you think? More can be found via links in my sig. Thanks in advance!
You need to work more on variations between light and dark. Everything you just posted seems to be the same overall level of brightness. If I was to desaturate all your images and blur them, everything would blend into the background.
Which also contributes to the overall lack of detail.
The single 3D model you posted has a bit sloppy texture work in terms of lining up with the poly detail.
