Its been a while since I have been on polycount, figured I would come back with a bang. Its probably to late for critiques seeing how I just sent it in, but I figured I would show it off... and yes her face isn't perfect but I hear it doesn't have to be. I went a little different then everyone else. rather then making flat alphas for armor haha I decided seeing how its an armor test to actually put some time into the armor. I went pretty low on polys and had enough for a good amount on fur while maintaining enough detail in the armor. It was pretty challenging and I am still not sure how to do armor that was half part of the body and half separated (specifically with the normal's) What I did do worked but I know its probably not the best approach. I had soem major issues the last day, things wanted to not export right and make previously unseen seams very visible. PS I didn't know about this art test until 3 weeks into it. lol enjoy.
Hahaha It's hard to get feedback sometimes .
Here is some quick critic. I can feel like you were a little bit in a hurrt when you did you zbrush sculpt, it looks like it could help more refining work.
The overall proportions are a bit off wich doesn't really help making your armor really stand out.
On your final render your skin look awfully yellow for some reason. When I look at your diffuse texture (it's mall but still) it looks like you smudge a gray-ish color on it.
Anyway I think you still did a good work , grats and goodluck with the internship (I think that's what the art test is about?) and you should just continue to practice and take your time!!
Thanks guys it really helps. I will let u in on a secret im colorblind so i didnt see the skin fault till later, i cut corners and didnt use my tools to check my colors. i have decided some other things, backgrounds, presentation and pose all need redone. along with color and seam fixes. how do i expect to get an average intern position with simple erros everywhere, let alone getting into sucker punch or bungie (in the area) about a week after i moved on from the sculpt i noticed the proportions not being perfect to what i wanted.
