My game Last Knight is now finally available on Steam!
You might have seen bits of it here and there in the work in progress thread over the years. Recently it was the stylized 3d map I worked on:
That is for a new game mode called Rogue Rider Adventure which is still now a work in progress, that is also why it launches on Steam as Early Access and under the name Last Knight: Rogue Rider Edition.
Here is the trailer:

The game is basically a mix of platforming, jousting, non-stop action and rogue-like elements like a randomly generated world and also perma-death. It can be very challenging since there is no health and already colliding with the world results in a ragdoll death. I made it myself with the UDK while I had help for the music and the sounds.

I dig the art style in this. Sorta has a little bit of Disney style sprinkled on top of it. Was it just you working on this or a couple other dudes too?
Yea, i kinda went in Pixar direction for it though it doesn't has that super clean look. The theme music has a lot of that older Disney sound to it. It is just me working on art and programming with 2 dudes working on the music and the sounds.

Nice to hear!

Thx, I totally understand that. The games story and the endless part is already pretty polished while the new Rogue Rider Adventure mode is a heavy work in progress.

Thanks, have fun when you check it out!
The showcase gives a bit of insight in the making of the game, my vision for it and how I used the UDK for it.
It looks really good, hope it gets featured or in a more visible spot to help sales. The price is excelent in my opinion compared to other games.
If you would listen to my song on Spotify I'd be grateful too

Do you have a facebook page for it or something?
