Hello everyone,
I'm new to the forum and to Dota 2. I've been a game artist for a few years now, working primarily on mobile and Facebook game titles. After working in these arenas for a while, I wanted to get back into creating art of PC-based game titles. I got into Team Fortress 2 where I created a few hats, and now taking up Dota to hopefully publish some items.
It's a pleasure to be part of the group and I'll be posting a piece I'm currently working on, shortly. I look forward to your feedback.

As for the Axe- I think you should zoom out and concentrate on a few details to exaggerate. Even though axe's weapons are some of the more massive ones in game, the smaller scratches and similar tiny detail won't show up on an in-game model. Giving a few larger more exaggerated scratches would probably serve your purposes better.
