24 tunnel segments in all shapes and sizes, 3 large caves, 3 small caves, 6 tunnel connectors to connect to the caves, 8 various rock models, 4 decals and 4 materials later and my respect has grown for you guys doing this for a living:thumbup:. I spent so much time over the last 4 months fixing problem after problem and now the grunt work is done it is a bloody pleasure putting it all together but just when I was getting comfortable with UE3, UE4 turns up out of the blue :poly122:
I guess the point to the post is the actual moral of all work, you really do get out what you put in. What has been a bit of a head trip is when I stop using one program for a month or so I have forgotten how to use it when I need to use it:poly142:
I will upload the level later in the year as an .exe for anyone who wants to critique the work and you can download it an play it.
Cheers
Pete

What have you been working on?
And grunt work, realizing how hard this stuff might actually be and he is just happy it's over.
That's what i got from it.
I'd like screenshots of said level.
Don't know if UE4(besides obvious upgrades) is much different from UE3, someone knowledgeable will pop up maybe?
UE4 feels like a completely new engine built on top of the ideas and workflows from UE3. It's definitely very user friendly and approachable and works in very similar ways to the old engine. There's a lot of new stuff to learn, but stuff learned in UDK will carry over pretty well.
