Marmoset 2 wireframe not showing on some meshes

When I try to render out with wireframe turned on, some of my meshes on my character don't show the wireframe or instead i get little dots where the verts are
Anybody know what's wrong or how to fix this?

Adding a height map to my materials made them show again, not sure why they weren't in the first place though
