Marmoset Toolbag 2 output?

I'm just beginning my Marmoset 2 days and having some difficulties with the capturing.

-When I select Capture/Show Output folder, nothing opens (I assume it's supposed to?)
-When I select Capture/Image I get the windows loading circle but no image shows up where I expect it to (desktop)
When I select Capture/Image & Open nothing opens (My settings are to output in TGA, which defaults into Photoshop)

Is there a default folder that MT2 outputs into? I didn't see something aptly named in my program files but maybe I just overlooked it?

edit -> preferences -> output

set your desired folder.

Oh wow, that was simple. Is there a way to select a folder and set it as default? Because right now I'm selecting that folder each time I open the software

Yeah, the folder in the preferences should set the default. Does it revert every time you launch the app? Do you have non English characters in the file path or something like that?

Ahh gotchya. I had my output folder set to my desktop, which MT2 doesn't seem to preserve as a default. But every other folder I've chosen works fine. It's inconvenient, but minor at worst.

^Also with this what would be the best way to create an .avi to upload to youtube for the turnable?
