Hey guys, Thnk and I are currently collabing on an Omniknight set.
Thought I'd show you guys some concepts were thinking about using.

Thanks for the feedback guys! We were also leaning towards the first one. We're starting production on it today and will hopefully submit it to the workshop in a week, which is when our spring break ends =P
Dig it! Nice concept on the mace, and set, but I'm not a fan of the helm. In the rest of your design, the 'feathery' gold parts flow softly, decorative, and mostly downward/away , but in the helmet, they point forward, upward and come across as aggressive. I think if you change the helm to be more in the line with the rest of the set in terms of design, it'll work even better.
-Spudnik: Totally get what you mean, but we did kinda want to make him that badass holy pally that charges into battle boosting moral and keeping all his allies alive. At the same time, it was just enough to break silhouette without drastically changing the character.

-Helm & Gauntlets= Thnk
-Shoulders & Capes= Me
-Still got a little more polishing to do, but should be retopo-ing tomorrow (whenever I wake up...lol)

The feel I'm getting from the set is more of a heavy honor guard armor though that he can still kick ass in, but regardless of the the purpose, I think design wise you can come up with a helm that follows the examples you've set yourself throughout the armor better. Also, keep the game camera in mind, the as is, the helm is likely to look a bit empty or simplistic from the top.
