Hey Guys,
i startet this from the october ( I think) noob challenge here, an kept working on it a little bit, adding a few things like a cellar - I didn't really want to stick to the concept to closely. I decided to try Unity for this one, since you only see CE or UDK most of the time here
A few props are still missing, and i am trying to get the lighting the way I want it, which is kind of hard. Little bit to dark at the moment.
Any comments or feedback are highly appreciated, thanks!
Have a nice day,
holzi

How'd you do the volumetric lighting?
the volumetric light is created by a Script that gets put onto spot or directional lights in Unity, it comes with the pro version only because it needs render textures.
I tried daylight for the scene. only a quick bake, therefore the seams - i kind of liked the first ones better. sadly my Unity Pro (demo) license ran out today, so the image is without all image effects and pro features like the volumetric lights and so on..

a few of the deer trophys are still placeholders.
I love the pillows, but the cloth on the tables feels a little stiff for me, especially the cloth on the table next to the pillows.

it is pretty filesize-heavy though, ~30mb or so.
The light shining through everything bug is interesting lol. I'm impressed too. You have a whole basement area as well. I was able to get back up the stairs by basically double jumping.
I'd definitely try lightening up the place a little bit. I say try because most of the dark areas of the scene are unimportant, so it still works.
There are some funky UV's above the window at the bar, and some UV's are stretched on the basement windows. I agree that the cloth is a bit stiff.
I like your rendition of the Inn scene. I'm actually still dabbling in that scene as well.
Keep up the good work.
Updated the unity webplayer version, I think I'll call this finished for now - last thing I want to fix is the stiff cloth.

I added/fixed a few things and made a modular asset pack for unity asset store out of it (scene is included as well).
