Quick Blockouts !!

So the name says it all the purpose would be to do quick blockout from 8-12 hours max

first blockout was a disaster so not showing it :P

Blockout 02 (Sagat) 7 hours





Blockout 03 (Original concept by Anthony Jones aka Robot Pencil) 4 hours



Blockout 04 started with Zspheres (Original concept by Anthony Jones aka Robot Pencil) 4 hours

I don't know if you are going for anatomic fidelity/believability with these but the stuff between Sagat's serratus ant. and ext. oblique looks weird.

Like your stuff, but sagats torso is way too long.

Skinpop : well I consider these blockouts because I only spend 1 day more or less working on it ,you are right I can see now that sagat`s torso looks abit tall , Glade you like my Stuff

D4V1DC : the idea is to get into the habit of creating and hit a concept as fast as possible to a level that I`am able to get crits on the model

that riddler looks very nice. only problem i see is the pose. he looks very off center. like his body is arcing to the left (viewer left) try turn is his right foot a bit more to the right. cause right now. at least to me. looks like hes going to fall over.

hm the last one doesn't look that great to be honest, it mostly looks like plain colors with shading on top. Not sure if it is me beeing used to gamey art, as usual clean materials are just that, no colorvariation at all - but here it doesn't look quite right. To me it feels like you put a cloth shader, a leathershader (looks pretty wet i have to say) and a skinshader on modelparts but didn't really texturize it.

Neox : that was abit harsh but thank you for your honesty I want to hear that more often , I did texture it and tried to make good shaders ( I still need to learn alot about shading and texturing I know ) I was some how happy that I could finish it .... now am not lol !!
again thank you I really need to hear this to push myself more and be able to know where I`am currently

i only pointed out what I think is negative about it, sorry for that. The mesh itself seems clean and the normalmap looks good. Can you show your textures? It could as well just be a combination of lighting, shading and texturing that causes this very clean look.
