Environment Concept: Help me finish this scene! (UDK)

Hey everyone, so here's the concept I'm creating an environment from for one of my portfolio pieces (Artist is Joachim Barrum):

And here is my current progress

Being a noob at lighting & post-processing in UDK (or in general for that matter), I could really use some guidance /particularly/ in regards to how I should go about achieving the lighting, feel, and atmosphere as shown in the concept. So far all I've got going in terms of bells and whistles is a few point lights, that fog particle, as well as a standard height-fog with a green tint. The glass material of the tanks is another thing I'm lost on, as mine is very clear and transparent, whereas the concept is very thick and emissive.

Any help is much appreciated...

The first thing I would do is get some rim lighting and fresnel set up on the center object. You might also want to set up some reflections for it as well, a cube map would work well. The glass really needs to be emissive and you'll want to turn on use emissive for lightmass.
