3ds max scale group of verts at the same time issue

I have the following verts which are selected, I need to use the Scale tool to expand them out so they are move even. There are a good 50 odd sets of these 3 verts. If I select them all at the same time they scale based on the entire selection.

I need them to scale based on just on set so they all just spread out. I hope that makes sense.

It might work to scale the edges in between instead with "edge constraint" turned on.
Otherwise I'd just snap them to their parallel vert in 2 axis's to make it perfectly aligned.

If I understand you correctly, the only way I can think of that MIGHT work is by grabbing the edges instead and scaling them with edge constraints turned on. And make sure you're scaling with the pivot point center and not the selection center.

Edge constraint doesn't work, but I didn't think of snapping them to the parallel vert, I will do that thanks!
