Old-school schooter in UDK; looking for artists

Hi,

Im just about to create a FPS based on the "Marathon trilliogy" by Bungie Software (Halo series). The Plan is Re-create the old Enemys, Weapons, Textures (...) in a new polished, realistic look and add an Invasion Mode, and the one or another Multiplayer Gametype.

which gives a good overview what its about.

Current state is very early statet, i have two programmers, 3D Modeler which is about to finish the Player Model and a 2D artist giving the textures a brand new look :)


but anyway, theres lots of things to do, so open positions are:

- Level Designer (Really, not difficult in this case; most is BSP)
- 3D Artist(s) For Characters & Weapons*, a few props
- VFX Artist about 90 Particle Effects

* because the Game Environment doesn't make much use of StaticMeshes & Co theres lots of Power left for Enemys and Weapons, so PolyCount & Texture Resolution can be fairly High (So what the Engine Allows)

PS: For some positions/ work im willing to pay a 'expense allowance' but because it's a personal project which is not planned to get comercial, i can't offer a realistic freelancer loan. I know its not a wealth, but better then for free ;)

5- 20$ per Particle System (90 total) = about 500-1000$
150$ per Weapon (Model, texture, Rig) (9 total) = about 1500$
400$ per Character (Model, Texture, Rig) (8 Total) = about 3200$

    Hello Stefan,

    I am interested in working on Marathon trilogy as a 3D Artist- I can both model and animate characters/ monsters/ zombies, and all the other parts between: texturing, rigging etc!

    As my CV demonstrates, as seen here, I have worked on video game pipelines before as a freelancer and within teams with deadlines and pressure to finish on time looming!

    Although I do not have any stagnant skills and my abilities and capabilities are always on the up and always improving; whether that is 3D Sculpting, Modelling, unwrapping, texturing, rigging and animating! I do not have any stagnant skills.
