Redesign clockwerk weapon . Instead of its sharp hook , i replace it with a electro magnet that will stick on object upon contact , where the holder part will be the electric generator :P . The code name C-1X5 will not be shown in game as it will be blocked by the hand . Critics are welcomed .
Alright straight to the point , I think its because of the giant round thing that makes it appears to be short . The weapon should be roughly approximate to the original length so I think it wont the problem . ;D

Recently I had thought of removing the red triangle thingy because it may not make any difference in game . But without them , it looks abit empty in the showcase . In addition , the whole model is draining alot of polygon ( due to cylinder object ) .
Those triangle thingy was actually a concept to make the whole thing like a wire extension + electromagnet where it will constantly gyrate , and accelerate when hook shot is cast .Besides that, I want to make it glow based on the level of hook shot ( animation to item like sniper immortal gun ) . However , it requires coding ( which is my weakest ) and it may rejected by valve due to complexity .
So my question is , to or not to remove it ? The 3 triangle drained 60 tris and it very essential to bring out a cleaner low poly . But adding it would make it unique ( atleast to me ) and it pushes me away from my limit . Commend guys ?
Finally completed the hook . Do vote for it if you think it deserve it on workshop ( or dislike if it sucks , I wont know :P ) . Btw promo video is in the link .
Its been a year since I started this project , too much procrastination and school stuff :P . Its a very challenging and annoying process , that I really had learnt alot of new things ( particle , better animation skills , qc editing , and stupid sfm that crashes alot )

AT LAST !! done the freaking texture and kinda satisfied with the color . Real time render using workshop tools is so danm awesome !!! Moving towards SFM now
Btw I had submitted my SFM for the short film contest . One week rush of animation really drive me insane . Still incomplete thou , lets treat it as a teaser for upcoming project
